Laurentsio Pettersson

Laurentsio likes both to be seen and heard. He doesn’t have a nine-to-five job, but his time is never idle. He has assignments as a lecturer, takes temporary acting and modelling jobs, and is currently involved in a project that highlights people with disabilities in culture. In the future, he hopes to devote more time to helping people in need.

Laurentsio knows about everyone in Bollnäs, the small town he has made his home since high school. He came to Sweden as an 11-year-old, adopted from a Romanian orphanage.

He has appeared in a television series, in films, been the subject of a film documentary and is also the subject of an upcoming book. He feels strongly that people with disabilities should have more exposure in media and in culture. It is an effective way to help eliminate prejudices.
